 TCE welcomes Mazda RX8 owners with two Big Brake Kits! The RX8 represents state of the art in Rotary performance, TCE/Wilwood big brakes are now here to enhance your braking performance. In reviewing customer needs and wants TCE has put together two brake kit options. One for the street enthusiast who wants to keep stock wheels, the other an custom competition kit targeted to those running 17" track wheels. Both come with over 14yrs of big brake design and experience assuring you of a proper design and the ever popular TCE value. *Front kits* Plus 1: The 14" kit. $1895A 14" value packed product for stock wheels. TCE has chosen the BSL4r radial mount caliper for this application for a number of reasons; fully dust booted pistons, stiff body design, proper piston area, ease of installation and availability of colored finished factory direct. We believe this will prove the value packed kit of chose for many daily drivers and those occasional track day users.
Plus 2: The 13.3" kit. $2049 This kit raises the bar for RX8 brake performance and serious track day use. TCE is extremely fond of the new W4A and W6A calipers for many reasons. This new caliper takes us places in the Wilwood line previously limited to only the more hard core racing user. The W4A caliper comes in just over seven pounds of large bridge, big bolt, stiff design not found in many of the ligher street caliper kits we've used for years. Fit with massive 1.265" wide rotors the Comp kit is intended to maximize 17" wheel fit.
*Rear kits* Rear Plus 1: The Rotor kit. $579 Enhance the look of your car with a front and rear kit! This kit comes with larger rotors, optional rotor finishes, caliper relocation brackets and everything you'll need for a quick and simple installation. Retains the factory parking brake caliper and pads.
