 Solstice/Sky: Cool car..not so cool brakes. We can change that! TCE is pleased to announce that is it now offering a number of brake kits for the Solstice and Sky. Long known for brake kit value, again TCE delivers the goods.First up is our all new TCE/Wilwood Plus 1 Street kit. If you're an enthusiast looking to enhance both your brake performance and your cars appearance this one's a no-brainer. TCE has fit 13" rotors with the all new Wilwood DynaPro Six caliper offering differential bore design and low pad maintenance. Add to this a low profile for near limitless wheel fit options and you have a winning combo! The second offering is for you track junkies! The Plus 2 kits 13" rotor has been enhanced with additional mass and fit with the time and track proven Forged SuperLite (FSL) caliper. This full on race caliper offers a huge pad assortment and stiff design for pedal response from the first lap...to the checkered flag. The FSL uses a full .800" thick pad for long life and superior thermal protection. *Front Kits* Plus 1: The 13" Street kit. $1389 This value packed kit puts the Solstice into serious braking performance yet retains a low profile for wheel clearance. Standard are directional, gas slotted and zinc plated 13" rotors with DynaPro Six calipers. Combined with our .81" rotors it still keeps wheel fit options open where others companies can't. Nets up to 11lbs per corner weight savings also!
The HD kit enhances the above kit by replacing the .810 rotors with heavier 1.10" wide parts while retaining the DP6 caliper. This kit can take track day punishment for a longer time as cooling is enhanced. Wheel clearance is compromised as the caliper is now closer to the wheel, available with the same options listed above. Plus 2: The 13" Track kit. $1395 This kit pushes the Solstice into serious braking performance. Standard are over sized, directional, gas slotted 13" rotors with full size Forged SuperLite (FSL) calipers. A true work horse for both street and track duty use! The FSL caliper offers improved stiffness and larger, thicker pads than nearly any kit on the market. Combined with our full 1.10" wide rotors your needs for greater thermal mass on the track are answered.
Plus 3: The 14" kit. $1895 By special order only.
*Rear Kits* Rear Plus 1: The 12.3" Parking Brake kit. $1119 Move on up to some larger, sexy looking calipers to match the front FSL or DP6 kits! This kit comes with Wilwood's combo parking brake caliper with a much larger anvil yet retains the function of the oe parking brake cable. Larger 12.3" rotors to match your front kit make this an easy choice. Increased performance, same total weight.
Rear Plus 2: The 13" Parking Brake kit. $1295 Taking the above kit one step larger for those customers looking at 14" front kits TCE can produce a custom version of the above Parking Brake kit with full size 13" rear rotors. The added cost comes from both the added expense of the larger TCE aluminum rotor hats as well as the higher cost casting necessary to produce the final kit.
