Impala SS: A big car deserves big brakes!

The TCE Impala SS kit is far and away the number one selling front brake kit we have ever produced. And for good reason; attention to detail and value packed. When it comes to repeated stopping our huge 13", 14", and 16" directional rotors with full size four or six piston calipers get the job done. The Plus 1 kit is a complete replacement of the stock system yet fits stock wheels. Plus 2 kits go larger and require 18" or larger wheels, and the Plus 3 kit requires 20s or larger. If you can't find what you need here there's no hope!

We have also spent a lot of time on the rear of the Impala and came up with two exceptional matching rear brake kits. These kits replaces the stock rotor with a two piece package while retaining the stock parking brake. We then fit a properly sized four piston caliper to match your front kit in both looks and performance. Notes: Requires spindle exchange or outright purchase. Increses track width .25" per side. For colored calipers (powder coat) the FSL is the better model to use due to it's body shape. TCE is no longer sellng modified spindles outright. Customer must handle the modifications or pay the core charge.

Application: For those with larger wheels the 14" kit really help show out what true Big Brakes are all about. Esentially the same as the P1 kit but larger and using an alternate, radial mout, six piston caliper.

Application: The base kit for the reare of your SS our 13" rear kit is available in a variety of options allowing them to be properly matched to you choice of front kit. By using an iron 'hat' your parking brake is also fully fuctional for all your daily driver needs.

 

Fit: Stock 17" and larger wheels.

 

Notes: These kits requires the removal and adjustment of what is called 'axle float'. This will be done by working on the differential and installing an assortment of the supplied C-clips to get the float to a space of .006-.008" when done. Installation of this kit should be left to a qualified professional.
