Note: Due to the variations in wheel bearing specs in this era TCE will need to know the diamter of your spindles before we ship your parts. The hubs and bearings we supply must match that of your current spindles. Or you're going to be very disappointed....Also as noted below: our kits will NOT convert wheel stud pattern needs. They must pair to the spindles you have or plan to use by bearing sizes.

Application: Adding a rear kit enhances both the look AND the function of your total build. Fit one of our 13" rear kits to match the new 13" front kit and enjoy the benefits of big brakes! These are NON parking brake kits.
Fit: Requires 17" or larger wheels.
Notes: These kits requires the removal and adjustment of what is called 'axle float'. This will be done by working on the differential and installing an assortment of the supplied C-clips to get the float to a space of .006-.008" when done. Installation of this kit should be left to a qualified professional.
Some 1976 cars have proven to come with non C-clip axles. TCE has an alternate mount plate for the '76 car. Please make us aware of your needs at the time of the order.

Your kit is supplied with hubs fit with 1/2" studs

The spindles on your car MUST fit these bearings.
Spindle outer diameter must be .750" and the inner diameter 1.250"
The kit will not "Convert" a car from 5 on 5 to 4.75
TCE will NOT refund, exchange or otherwise compensate for wrongly ordered parts. It is up to the consumer to verify the specs above prior to purchase.

REAR KIT DISCLAIMER:
Our rear kit comes supplied with base plates that measure as shown below. To our knowledge this is the standard axle flange fit to the 77-94 car. These should not be confused with "10 bolt or 12" bolt configurations found on Wilwood's webpage.This may be referred to as the Commercial axle. Buyers are notified that TCE will not refunds, exhange or otherwise compensate for wrongly ordered parts. It is up to the buyer to verify the dimensions shown. The aluminum rotor hat is double drilled for both 4.75 and 5" stud patterns.

These kits are disigned to use the factory B-Body spindle only.
If your wish to purchase new spindles Summit Racing has them. But...
1. You must order the Correct Spindles! The spindle on the left is a G-body part. Despite the fine print that you can use a stock Caprice rotor it does not matter to TCE as we are not selling you stock Caprice rotors. Your purchase must match that of the hubs and bearings TCE supplies. Which vary in the late '70s to later '80s.
2. The correct Summit Racing spindles use Set 3 and Set 6 wheel bearings. They will work with both 5" as well as 4.75" wheel stud partterns. But..! You must notify TCE of your using these items so we can be sure you receive the proper part. A standard early Caprice uses sets 3 & 5 which will not work on these spindles.
3. Spindle diameter: If you do not know what you have then you must Mic the diamter of the spindle (the snout) at the larger spot where the inner bearing rides. All the outer or smaller bearings are the same: Set 3 = .840" . The largr diamter porition changes and is critical to you order: Set 5 is 1.375" and Set 6 is 1.250"
4. TCE is not replacing free of charge incorrectly ordered hubs and bearings. The parts listed per kit as shown above and that's what we will ship UNLESS you notify us via email that you need a different combination.
